Extracurricular activities and clubs are an important part of the Sussex Academy Middle School experience, providing students with opportunities to explore their interests, build connections and develop leadership skills.

Our middle school clubs are student-created and student-led. Students are encouraged to develop club ideas based on their interests and passions, submit proposals and take an active role in leading their clubs with the support of a staff advisor. Clubs meet during the school day, allowing students to connect with peers, explore shared interests and practice leadership, collaboration and responsibility.

Students interested in the performing arts can participate in our after-school performing arts program, which includes opportunities in theater, band and choir. These experiences allow students to develop their talents, collaborate with others and contribute to the school community through performances and productions.

Together, clubs and performing arts provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore, experience and excel beyond the classroom.
