Greetings From our Head of School
Welcome to our Sussex Academy Community,
Our school is a public charter, tuition free school providing an accelerated academic program for Delaware students in grades K-12. We have an elementary campus (grades K-5) and a secondary campus (grades 6-12) both centrally located in Georgetown, DE.
Our elementary school program offers a high caliber elementary education consistent with the distinguished 21-year history of Sussex Academy, with a concentration placed in environmental science and Spanish. Classes are specialized and taught by content beginning in 3rd grade.
Our middle school and high school offer an accelerated academic program that is complimented by extra-curricular experiences including interscholastic athletics, performing arts, music, and opportunities for participation in clubs and community service. The Sussex Academy middle school students are exposed to a variety of exploratory courses in STEM and humanities to help them choose a pathway in high school. Our high school students participate in Advanced Placement (AP) courses as early as 9th grade and select to participate in a pathway in either STEM or humanities.
If you are seeking an excellent academic curriculum in a safe environment with a focus on kindness, mindfulness and positivity, I encourage you to email email@example.com to learn more about our school.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sussex Academy.
Eric M. Anderson
