Meeting Recordings
In Delaware, boards of directors—including those governing charter schools—are legally required to create and publish digital recordings of all public meetings (excluding executive sessions, workshops or retreats without voting).
This requirement promotes transparency and ensures that the public, as well as state legislators, can review proceedings long after meetings have concluded. While these recordings are not the official minutes, they serve as a crucial supplement to meeting documentation and support compliance with Delaware’s commitment to open governance.
