Adult Swim Lessons

It’s never too late to learn to love the water! Private lessons are available for swimmers of all levels.

Masters Swim

A coach-led workout designed for adult fitness swimmers and triathletes (ages 18+). Masters swim sessions are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., each lasting one hour.

Adult Stroke Clinic

Offers individualized stroke correction.

Session length: 30 minutes
Fee: $36

Group Lesson Registration Requirements (Parent/Child, Preschool, Youth):
  • Submit a Registration Form for each child and session (please print clearly).
  • Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please wait to receive a confirmation email before submitting payment.
  • Full payment is due by the stated deadline to confirm enrollment.
Private and Semi-Private Lessons:
We offer one-on-one and small-group swim lessons for individuals of any age. Lessons are 30 minutes in length and are scheduled directly between the instructor and participant based on availability.

Our professional and courteous instructors work with swimmers of all levels to ensure safety and skill development. Lessons include:

Description of Levels and Skills

PARENT/CHILD (6–18 months)
A fun, interactive class where parents work with instructors to introduce basic water skills such as floating and kicking through guided play. Focus: comfort and positive water experiences.

PARENT/CHILD (18 months–3 years)
This level focuses on floating, kicking, and paddle strokes, with an introduction to personal flotation devices (PFDs) and safe pool entry/exit. With instructor approval, children over age 2 may transition to a preschool class.

PRE-SCHOOL BEGINNER (Ages 3–5)
Introduces preschoolers to water safety and basic aquatic skills.
Skills: Safe entry/exit, submersion, front & back float, recovery to standing, direction change, and paddling on front for 5 yards.

YOUTH BEGINNER (Ages 5 & up)
For children not yet comfortable in water and who haven’t mastered front/back float.
Skills: Submersion, front & back float, recovery to stand, and paddling on front for 10 yards.

BEGINNER PLUS (Ages 8 & up)
For swimmers comfortable in water who can float front and back.
Skills: Front & back glide, crawl strokes, rhythmic breathing, treading water, breaststroke kick, and compact dive (kneeling). Distance builds to 25 yards.

INTERMEDIATE (Instructor Recommendation Required)
For swimmers ready to refine their strokes.
Skills:

  • Rotary breathing
  • Front/back crawl (25 yards)
  • Breaststroke
  • Butterfly kick (15 yards)
  • Open turns
  • Increased endurance

ADVANCED (Instructor Recommendation Required)
For students proficient in all four competitive strokes.
Skills:

  • Freestyle and backstroke (50 yards with flip turns)
  • Breaststroke (50 yards)
  • Elementary backstroke
  • dolphin kick, and butterfly (25 yards)
  • Competitive starts and turns
  • Endurance up to 150 yards with any stroke or combination
