Lottery for Grades K-11

Completed applications submitted for anticipated openings in grades K through 11 during the Open Application Period are electronically recorded in the Data Services system and assigned a confirmation number. If the number of applications exceeds the available openings, a lottery is held to select students who will be invited to enroll for the upcoming school year. Students are admitted in the order their application is drawn in the lottery.

If a lottery is required for the 2026–2027 school year, it will be held on TBT - Dependent on Data Service Center. Lottery results will be emailed to all applicants, providing enrollment details to those selected and waitlist information to those not selected. For incoming 6th grade students, those assigned lottery numbers 80 or below will be invited to enroll for the 2027 school year. In accordance with Delaware Code Title 14, Section 405(c), the waitlist will remain active until the last day of September.

Enrollment Period

Immediately following the lottery, all applicants will be notified of their status via email. Applicants with lottery numbers within the number of anticipated openings will receive enrollment invitations and instructions. The enrollment period for the 2026–27 school year begins on February 2, 2026, and ends on March 20, 2026. Applicants whose lottery numbers exceed the available openings will be placed on a waiting list based on their lottery order, which remains active until September 30, 2026.
