Relevant Board Policies
Sussex Academy’s Board of Directors is responsible for establishing and overseeing policies that guide school operations, including approving policies related to academics, student conduct, staff expectations, governance, financial management and compliance with state and federal laws.
The Board ensures all policies align with Sussex Academy’s charter, mission and strategic goals, and that they support a safe, equitable and effective learning environment.
Additionally, the Board is responsible for reviewing and updating policies regularly to reflect evolving educational standards, legal requirements and community needs.
