Welcome to Sussex Academy High School! I began my journey at SA in 2012 and taught eighth grade science until 2024. Over those years, I developed a deep love for this school, its students, and its vision. It is a privilege to continue serving this community as Dean of High School.

Accelerating every student’s learning is a central focus at the high school. We want each student to be challenged to move beyond where they are today, with the instruction, support, and opportunities to make meaningful progress. High school is also a time to discover new interests and consider what comes next. We encourage students to set goals, take ownership of their learning, and recognize how their efforts can shape their future.

Through academics, athletics, the arts, service, and involvement in school life, students have opportunities to discover their strengths, work with others, and contribute to their community. We also want them to develop the character and confidence to meet new challenges.
