PRIVATE LESSON UPDATE - May 1, 2026
Sussex Academy Aquatic Center’s mission has always been to serve as many community members as possible while helping swimmers become safe and confident in the water.
Due to an all-time high demand for swim lessons, we are making adjustments to private lesson availability. Beginning summer 2026, swimmers with physical, emotional, and/or other special needs who cannot comfortably or safely participate in a group class will receive priority for private lessons.

Led by High School Coach Guy Gosselin, an American Swimming Coaches Association–certified coach with decades of experience, this program delivers highly focused training that strengthens all four competitive strokes while refining starts and turns. It’s an ideal fit for swimmers not currently training with a year-round club and for rising 8th graders preparing for high school tryouts.
Join us from 4:00pm or 5:00pm on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays for power-packed 60-minute sessions designed to boost form, fitness, and performance. Choose one or two days per week—flexibility that fits your schedule.
