Student Bella Crisci presents at regional conference
Sussex Academy students Bella Crisci and Kimi Langroudi participated in the DelMarVa Digital Learning Association’s 2nd Annual Digital Learning Symposium Nov. 7 at Goldey-Beacom College.
Bella, together with Sophia Whyte of the Charter School of Wilmington and Kendall Massett, executive director of the Delaware Charter Schools Network, shared insights into policy, innovation and the transformative role of student voice in shaping digital learning in K-12 education.
Bella, now in her second year as a DCSN intern, is also chief of staff for DCSN’s student advisory council, said she planned for the student-led town hall during her summer internship with DCSN.
“It started as our optional personal project to learn more about academic resources, and then we decided we wanted to continue it during the school year and make it an event for students,” Bella said. “The event was really cool, and we learned a lot about AI and technology use in schools.”
