SAAS Sports Boosters
- Without Sports Boosters, there would be NO interscholastic sports offered at SAAS.
- Sports Boosters consists of volunteers, parents and one member of the school's staff.
- The SAAS School Board annually provides some funding to SAAS sports, but volunteer fund-raisers are necessary to meet the yearly budget.
- Without Sports Boosters fund-raisers, we would not be able to hire coaches, buy uniforms/equipment, pay for officials, or rent baseball/softball fields.
- The students of SAAS are interested in sports. Each sport typically has twice as many students trying out than available roster spots.
- We get lots of good suggestions from parents and students, but without “many hands to make light work” we can’t even begin to work on new opportunities for our children.
