Lifeguard-Pro Certification Classes can be scheduled at your convenience.  Lifeguard-Pro certifications are recognized INTERNATIONALLY. Much of the required classwork required is completed online. Sussex Academy is certified to provide the following classes:

Lifeguard Certifications: Shallow Water, Deep Water, Waterpark, Youth Camp and Recertification classes.

Water Safety Instructor: For those interested in teaching swim lessons.

Aquatic Fitness Classes: We offer a variety of classes 6 mornings AND evenings a week. You can pay by the class or by the month.

Aqua Core (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-9:15): Exercises to strengthen your core and help with balance.

Arthritis+ (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9:15-10):

Tabata (Mondays & Wednesdays 5:45pm): High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) water aerobics

Tabata+Pump N Power (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10-11am): Tabata that includes resisitence training at the end of the class.

Low Impact (Monday and  Friday 11-11:45am): Low Intensity aerobics.

ABC's of Exercise (Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30-9:30): Aerobic, Balance and Core strength training.

Grab Bag: This class is designed for ALL levels and it's focus is endurance and resistance training.  

Aquatic Full-Body Blast (Starting February 26th Monday and Wednesday nights 5:45-6:30) High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) work-out that includes high-energy music and moves! 

Aqua Dance: COMING in April (Tuesday and Thursday nights 5:45-6:30pm)

Masters Swim

Masters NEW FEES and NEW TIME!

Do you miss the days of swim team or want to develop your strokes? Join this group of swimmers as we follow practices written by experts from United States Masters Swim and develop friendships along the way. Being able to swim at least two lengths of the pool continuously is recommended to join Masters Swim, but we are willing to work with any skill level. Goggles are required, caps are recommended.
